Laser Marking on Anodised Aluminium
Laser marking anodized aluminum and other plates metals is a really satisfying process. Anodised aluminum looks fantastic when laser etched and by altering the settings on our fiber laser marker, we can achieve white, grey and black markings, (with the best results achieved by looking for the best contrast).
The first job we would like to showcase was completed for Trade Tap who supplied us with a range of chip-embedded blank business cards. Our fiber laser marker was used to etch the anodised aluminum cards, (whilst the wooden ones were laser etched on our CO2 laser). A similar laser marked promotional business card was made for Colorwow which again looks very professional.
In addition to this job, we have also just completed a laser marking job for Cat O Nine engineering who specialise in precision-engineered film and TV accessories, and high-precision Camera and Grip accessories.
We again used our Fiber galvo laser marking system to leaving a crisp looking white mark on the black anodised aluminium clamp parts.
Finally, we would like to show you a job we completed for Mapei UK who produce a range of adhesives, sealants & chemical products. Mapei asked us to brand up some of their product promotional brochures. These brochures were made from grey anodised aluminium and to achieve a good contrast we laser etched a bright white mark onto the face of each folder.
