Welcome to Etch and Cut. Laser cutting, marking, etching and engraving service based in the north west of England.
Etch and Cut offer a range of laser cutting, laser marking, and laser CNC etching and engraving solutions. From laser cut acrylic, perspex, ABS, HIPS, Mylar and other laser cut plastics, to laser etching acrylic laminate sheets and traffolyte. We also offer a laser marking, laser etching and engraving service for stainless steel, aluminium, anodised aluminium, brass, nickel plate and Inconel. Plywood, MDF, glass, slate, leather and even paper and card can be processed in our workshop.
Based in Wigan, Greater Manchester, we are ideally situated between Manchester and Liverpool, covering the whole of the United Kingdom and beyond.
Certification labels and machine rating plates, identification labels, electrical switch panels, tags and discs, custom signs and signage, part marking, QR codes and laser cutting component parts make up a large part of work. We also produce stencils and templates and provide a branding and marketing service for promotional products and merchandising.

Can’t recommend Mark highly enough. The engraving I needed (on a piece of slate) was possibly one of the smallest jobs he’s been tasked with. He has some large regular contracts. However, I felt like he prioritised my requirements above everything else, responding almost immediately to my initial enquiry with an emailed draft proposal and also my subsequent requested “tweaks”.
He was all set up when I arrived with the slate and it was completed in less than 15 minutes. After all this I was charged only his extremely low minimum charge.

I found Etch and Cut online and phoned them to enquire about a watch box I wanted engraving. The owner was so helpful and advised me to drop in, and he did the engraving for me the same day while I waited. The material I gave him wasn’t the best, but he found a way to do the job and it looks great. Thank you so much!

Etch and Cut Wigan helped me with an engraving idea for a chopping board i have had made out of wood from a Bramley Apple tree that came down in a storm back in 2020. My Wife loved the tree and we have have many memories of it . It is a special birthday for her in December . Etch and Cut made a fantastic Job by putting on the chopping block the wording ( Fairlawn Bramley Apple 2020 ) plus an image of an apple on a branch . Many thanks for that .

Friendly and helpful service! I had an idea for a project but needed someone with the expertise to bring it to life. I approached Mark with my initial designs, he listened to what I wanted and advised me on the technical aspects. The finished product is beautiful, I would definitely recommend Etch and Cut.

My husband contacted Mark with just an idea of what we wanted and he was more than helpful with suggestions on the phone. When we actually went down to his business to see him with the item, he was clearly very knowledgable and came up with a few suggestions for us. Etch and Cut did a fabulous job of my bespoke boat instrument panel and at a very reasonable cost. Mark has a 'can do' approach which, unfortunately, is rare these days. He is extremely knowledgeable and has some fantastic machinery at his disposal. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome and have no hesitation in recommending this company. Thanks again!
